Today is Wednesday.  I normally work all day on Wednesday but today I got my shift covered because it is supposed to be 70 degrees outside today.  Yesterday I had an amazing day with some of my friends and all day we discussed how awesome today was going to be and everything cool we were going to do outside to take advantage of it.  Right before I got ready for bed I notice that my mom had texted and emailed me to let me know that my grandmother has changed her carpet delivery date from Thursday to Wednesday.  I had already talked to my mom early in the week and we decided that I would go over there while the carpet is being delivered to make sure everything is done correctly.  Thursday is supposed to rain and be cold again and I had NO problem sitting inside with her all day.  But no, now I will be spending this rare lovely 70 degree and sunny day inside.  I am so incredibly bummed it’s not even funny.  I’m actually a little embarrassed at exactly how bummed I am over it.  It would’ve been better if I had some notice and didn’t get to sit around all day yesterday and plan all these wonderful activities that I can no longer participate in.
